Camping Trips

Boy Scout Troop 221 has an active, year-round camping and outings program. The Troop organizes day and/or overnight outings every month of the year. Troop 221 outings and activities have included:

• Indian Grinding Rock SP

• Mt. Diablo SP

• Henry Coe SP

• Ohlone Wilderness

• Del Valle Regional Park

• Pinnacles NP

• Pt. Reyes NP

• Trinity Alps

• Caswell SP

• USS Hornet

• Sierra Nevada snow camping, skiing, and snow boarding

Summer Camps

Summer Camps are an important part of the Boy Scout experience. Troop 221 supports and attends a variety of camps per season, including:

• Camp Wolfeboro

• Camp Chawanakee

• Camp Lassen

• Camp Cherry Valley

High Adventure Camps

Troop 221 also participates in High-Adventure programs and camps. Boy Scouts over 14-years old can participate in high-adventure experiences, including trips to:

• Philmont Scout Ranch | Cimarron, New Mexico

• Northern Tier | Ely Minnesota
